The cottage was exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed and more. The beds were incredibly comfortable, especially the king-size bed in the master bedroom. The location was also ideal as we were within a short drive of many popular tourist attractions in the Lake District. Additionally, the communication from the host was excellent, making the check-in and check-out process incredibly easy.
That there was no rubber backed bath mat in the bathroom, which made the shiny tiled floor quite slippery. This was a bit of a hazard and resulted in a couple of slips.
